House O' Sullivans

  Sean woke me up this morning with an airplane that he built from Legos.     As you can see it’s a pretty cool airplane— the pilot has a jackhammer by the business end (never can tell when you might could use a cordless jackhammer), a nice flag standard (every plane should have one), an open air cockpit with a nice segmented window to protect your face maybe from flying insects?, and this handy little pokey thing jutting off the side that, as Sean describes it “Will poke off the arms of anyone who jumps up to try and get it.”     (“get it” I presumed meant take the jet.) I smiled n’thought sure, someone’s going to get their arm poked off by that? And then Sean produced this other guy too— “See he tried to jump up and he got his arm poked off.”     Moral of the story: be careful if you’re in the business of stealing other peoples airplanes while in operation. .     . The end of August through the first week of October was Sophie and Hallee's cross-country season and it was a phenomenal one. The Wasatch Waldorf girl's team ran undefeated this season. Hallee and Sophie led their team at every meet, including regionals, as the team's top two scoring runners. Hallee flat out won every regular season meet except for one. They were so much fun to watch. Their team was strong as well. For the previous two years they've only had a handful of girls on the team, but this year they had 15 girls and the energy was palpable.
