SEPTEMBER 2022!
We spent a large chunk of time in September at cross country races. Sophie, Hallee and Zeke were all on teams this fall. Zeke's sisters convinced him to run his first season ever on the Wasatch Charter team (with promises of excellent cardiovascular conditioning that would take him to the next level in all of his other sports) and he ended up clocking the fastest times in nearly every regular season meet on the boy's team. Hallee, naturally, spent the entire season undefeated--easily winning every meet, including region and state--finishing (for the second year in a row) as the USCSSL state champion (with a 2 mile time of 12:22, besting her nearest competitor by more than a full minute). The Wasatch Charter School girl's team took 1st place for the 3rd year in a row, sealing the coveted 3-peat.
