Baseball and a Big Birthday
Last Thursday we took the kids to a Bees baseball game. Earlier in the day, Zeke was playing in his room and he turned to me and randomly said, "Mom, I just can't stop thinking about the game." He was pretty excited to go to his first ever real baseball game. After about an hour of watching the game, and watching the people around us consume large quantities of expensive ballpark fare, Zeke turned to me and said, "How come we don't have any treats?" After that Casey went and got a giant bag of kettle corn and some lemonade for the kids and they were sufficiently satisfied. Although it was allegedly supposed to rain, it was just cooler and ended up being the perfect night out with the kids. Last Saturday was the big 4-0 for me.
