APRIL 2023!!
On the first day of the month, Casey and I decided to up our April Fool's game and trick the kids at breakfast. We made "eggs" with a swirl of yogurt topped with an apricot half and then made "orange juice" out of mac and cheese powdered sauce mix + water. We got 'em good! Later that day we took the family skiing at Nordic Valley. It was conference weekend, so we listened to the afternoon session on our drive up to Eden and then stayed until it got dark. We lost Lindy on the slopes for a few minutes. I took Sean to the bathroom and then got distracted inside the lodge (they gave us all of the un-purchased pizza and tater tots since they were closing for the night) while Lindy waited for us at the bottom of the lift. She eventually took a couple of rides and runs, all while asking around: "Has anyone seen my mom?" Eventually we spotted her (after scrambling the ski patrol) and brought her into the lodge to enjoy our bounty. Lindy, riding the lift at...
