MAY 2023!!

  The first Mountain Monday of May with the ladies. Zeke played on the Wasatch Charter School ultimate frisbee team this spring. Hallee has played the past two seasons but since she sprained her ankle during basketball a couple of months ago, she was still on the injured reserve list. Hallee, Sean and I took an impromptu afternoon adventure, exploring the flooded Sugar House Park and Hidden Hollow area. After our epic snowfall (between 200 and 300% of normal) the spring run-off is voluminous. Hallee and Sean with Parley's Creek raging in the background. There was literally no water here last year at the end of the summer. Sean in the Hidden Hollow area in Sugarhouse. This is the pond in Sugar House Park--completely overflowing its normal bounds. Water was backed up because it couldn't flow under the road through the culvert fast enough. On May 4th, Kimberly was sealed in the Draper Temple. January and February--2020

Casey took this picture one night in January when he and his brother, Sean, went over to give Grandma Tiede a blessing with their dad.  January brought a bit of big news for our family. Casey's boss--John Lambert--sold the company--Abstract Masonry Restoration, to Casey and two of his co-workers--Jamie and Kevin. They are the new owners of Salt Lake's best masonry restoration company.  This picture was taken on the day that they signed all of the legal paperwork and officially "sealed the deal." Our ladies adventure outing in January, in celebration of Sarah's birthday, brought us up American Fork Canyon for an afternoon cross-country ski. Toni took this picture.
