JUNE 2024!!
On June 1st, Casey took the kids to a Real soccer game and invited Newel and H.B. to come along. My brothers worked their magic and got Zeke into the "Lion's Club" after the game so that he could hang out with some of his favorite players. He was in heaven. Uncle Noodles, walking Zeke to the "inner sanctum" after the game. Zeke got to meet Chicho Arango. I got to go with a few friends to a production of Pride and Prejudice at the Grand Theater at Salt Lake Community College. Casey turned 53 on June 3rd. We had catered Cafe Rio and strawberry rhubarb pies to celebrate. Casey's birthday banner, drafted by Sophie this year. Zeke, staged for a cousin sleepover at the Melton's. Sophie and Hallee were out of school on May 24th but we pulled the younger kids out for a couple of days during their final week of school to go on an HB-planned, spontaneous trip to Duck Creek during the first week of June.
