May and June!

On a quiet May morning, Sean and I went on an outing to Wheeler Farm together. Somehow, as you get more kids and life becomes increasing complex and diversified, you start failing to do the simple things with the younger ones. I took Sophie, Hallee, and Zeke to Wheeler Farm innumerable times when they were little, but Sean, maybe a couple of times, none of which he had any memory of. We walked and explored the open land and trails on the east of Cottonwood Creek on a quiet, May morning and even saw a fox! (I'd never seen one there before.) It was so good just to be with him and enjoy his sweet companionship. Sean loves water and even more, throwing rocks into the water. Sean is so fun to be with one-on-one--a pleasant adventure buddy! Exploring all of the old tree carvings. He loved getting up onto all of the old tractors too! We took an FHE outing to a ropes course in Utah Valley for a lesson about faith and courage.
