July and August--2017
As I logged into my blog to post the general happenings of the past couple of months, I couldn't help but notice a distinct trend as I considered the yearly post totals from the past several years glaring at me from the sidebar. I couldn't help myself. I had to sketch a quick graph to illustrate my findings. What does this tell us, dear friends and family? Apparently my time and energy is required elsewhere at present. As I sit to write this, I find myself in a quiet house on a Sunday night. Casey is on a man-trip with his dad and brother, horse packing in the Uintas, and my three oldest kids are sleeping over with my mom and some of their cousins. Here's my chance to increase the paltry blog volume for 2017, at least contributing a generic report of some of the goings-ons of late. This summer was the summer of swimming lessons. Sophie, Hallee, and Zeke spent 4 whole weeks taking lessons at Holladay Lions Rec Center and are finally all proficient swimmers....
