"Hasta la Vista, Baby!" or "The Last of 2020: November and December"
Here are a few photos and highlights from the dregs of 2020--November and December: Casey and I have fits and spurts when it comes to individual "dates" with our kids, but in October we recommitted and wrote out a monthly schedule, including actual planned days with each of our kids on a rotating basis. This was Lindy's date with mom to Fat Cats for some extreme bowling: In November, Hallee's teacher came down with COVID and Sophie's teacher was exposed to COVID, necessitating several weeks (when combined with Thanksgiving break and the mandatory online week that followed that holiday) of remote learning for those two. None of the kids particularly enjoy remote learning days, much less remote learning weeks. This year was structured so that every Friday is a remote learning day and then, depending on circumstance, classes can be toggled online if needed.
