On January 11th, I drove part of Hallee's 4th grade class up to Spruces in Big Cottonwood for some snowshoeing with the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation volunteers. We studied animal tracks, snow pack density, and trees. Hallee with her two best friends: Anna Mae and Mattie Hallee, gettin' crazy in those clumpy snowshoes.. On Friday, January 11th, Casey and I took Sophie to the temple for the first time. She's been working diligently over the past few months, researching our family to prepare her own names to take. We ran into Mike and Angie at Cubby's afterward, which was awesome. Casey and the 3 oldest kids got to ski at Deer Valley with Uncle Noodles and family last month thanks to the 5th and 6th grade Ski Utah Passes (which covered the girls) and my brother, Newel, for scoring some free passes for Zeke and Casey.
