House O' Sullivans

Somehow we've had a continuous stream of sick people around here since early November. I'm pretty sure that I've been labelled "less active" at church since I'm the one who gets to stay home with the sick little people (since Casey is the Bishop and needs to be there). I've missed more Sundays then I've gone to church these past few months and it's just plain weird . Two weeks ago it was Sean with a week-long cold followed by another double ear infection. (He had one in December too.) After a couple of days of super-fussiness and multiple days of eating very little, I took him to the doctor. They just sent me home like I was some crazy lady. The very next day Sean was screaming non-stop, so I brought him back in. The very next day. Back to back doctor's visits. On the second visit, our pediatrician looked in Sean's ears and said, "Looks like a double ear infection." (I wanted to say, "I told you people!!" but I refrain...

The day before we flew to Florida I made a rash decision. We'd planned to stay with my youngest brother, H.B., but all of his girls had come down with the flu and not wanting to bomb in on a household of sick people, I decided that we'd stay on a nearby island called Anna Maria. After a few phone calls, I found a place that was perfect for our family, complete with a waterfront dock and a heated pool. It was a miracle really. Staying on the island for a week was intensely relaxing! My cell phone didn't even work out there. It was perfect! These four got a special tour of the cockpit.
